Military Salute

The Country Camera Salutes the brave and selfless men and women of our nation's military. It's a small token, but to show our support and appreciation, we never collect a session fee from active military families. In adddition we adjust the cost of the family's portrait order to reflect a 30% savings. We think portraits that capture the emotion of both deployment and the soldier's safe return home are essential to the fabric of the family.




Our Friend Jamie Lynn Shelite has been serving in Iraq since last December and will arrive home later this week! We photographed Jamie, her son Taylor and daughter Paige before Jamie's deployment and can hardly wait for the homecoming portrait session.

I sent this final image to The Today Show as they put out a request for photographs of friends and family members serving in the military. It was part of a special "Call to Action" series that aired a couple weeks ago. If you caught any of the segments, you may have noticed an entire wall covered with photographs served as a backdrop for Ann Curry.
